  1. Data Security
    • AI systems must comply with all relevant national and international standards for data security, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and/or ISO 27001. All sensitive data is securely stored and processed, with encryption and access restrictions.
  2. Transparency
    • The operation of AI models must be fully transparent to both developers and users. All algorithms used, data inputs, and the workings of the models are documented and checked for comprehensibility, and are included in our algorithm register.
  3. Fairness
    • AI models are assessed for fairness and to prevent bias in their decision-making processes. Discrimination based on race, gender, age, or other protected characteristics is actively monitored and corrected.
  4. Accountability
    • Organizations holding the Trust AI Certification must act responsibly and proactively in monitoring and adjusting their AI models. This includes regular audits and the presence of a responsible party within the organization to oversee AI systems.
  5. Reliability and Robustness
    • AI models must meet precise performance standards and consistently perform well under varying conditions. Reliability is ensured through continuous monitoring and model review.
